Orientation is usually provided with the help of a public transport map, which highlights a particular mode of transport within the city. These maps can not only confuse tourists and new residents but are also often unreadable for people with visual impairments.
DEWIBO is a community-based ecosystem that combines design knowledge with practice and social entrepreneurship.

A readable and user-friendly route planning app can ensure the consistent use of public transport. Additional functions, such as route planning with several intermediate destinations, are included in the revised mobility app, ensuring flexibility of public transport in cities .

User Journey
Using Personas, I created user journeys to define different scenarios and daily schedules of possible end users.
Various Personas, with different age groups, vision deficiencies and motivations helped to understand, how people move with public transit.

Form Considerations
The goal of this examination was to find a system to make transit maps more accessible for people with vision defficiencies, resulting in better readability for everyone.
Not only the colour adjustment, but also formal reconsideration shaped the final redesign of the map, allowing the system to scale for other navigation maps.
